Creating Accounts for Faculty on Electronic Reserve

You must have a manager level account to create an account.

Logon to eres.lib.washington.edu

You will be prompted to logon.

Click on 'main menu'.

Click on 'accounts'.

Click on 'add account'.

Fill in the username (UW Net ID)

For the password enter eres. For the password confirmation enter eres again.

Enter the persons first and last name.

For faculty you should select the 'faculty' level account from the drop down menu.

If teaching assistants or department staff need to have access to editing the reserve page; they should also be given 'faculty' level accounts.

Staff or faculty who edit multiple courses may be given 'librarian' level accounts.

Library staff who process electronic reserves are given 'manager' accounts.

Go to step 3 and click save.
